Occasionally I like to use a looser, less controlled style of painting creating abstract images.  To add texture for this one I started with coating the canvas with spackling.  I then chose a red/orange color pallet.  What emerged were the three main figures and three background figures.  The dark to the light suggested movement from red hot to cooler colors.
